About

The Full Story

Developed by Dr. Vick Chen at Tufts Children's Floating Hospital, the SEE IN 3D program was born out of a clear clinical gap: pediatric patients with persistent deficits in binocular vision, depth perception, and visual clarity despite standard corrective therapies. Following a three-year IRB-approved clinical study, SEE IN 3D was designed as a structured, neuro-visual therapy program targeting functional visual improvement beyond refractive correction alone. Over the past two years, deployment across multi-site clinics in three states has produced consistently strong patient outcomes, with measurable gains in stereopsis, visual acuity integration, and real-world functional vision.

Now under Locera Vision, the program is expanding rapidly. Recent insurance reimbursement approvals and upcoming integration with smart-glasses-based delivery platforms are accelerating adoption and provider interest. Locera Vision is actively recruiting ALPHA site partners to participate in expanded cohort studies and ongoing clinical research, alongside early adopters already implementing the BETA program across Ohio, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. Providers and vision therapy specialists seeking to differentiate their clinical offerings with evidence-driven, next-generation pediatric vision care are invited to engage with our team to explore integration pathways.
